DyneonFluoroplastic Granules PFA 6502TZ is a fluorothermoplastic resin suitable for producing plastic parts using traditional thermoplastic processing methods, including extrusion and molding. In addition to the chemical and thermal properties of PFA, this product offers very good stress crack resistance which makes it good for many Chemical Processing (CPI) and Semiconductor applications.
Dyneon PFA 6502TZ is a melt processable, partially crystalline, fluoroplastic resin which offers a valuable combination of properties, such as non-stick, chemical resistance and non-flammable qualities. It can be extruded or molded into parts such as tubing or sheets, using specialized equipment.
Dyneon PFA 6502TZ allows for easyprocessing under low shear rates, with a wide processingwindow and excellent color stability. This material can beused in tough environments, such as chemical industryapplications, where high strength and extreme thermal andchemical resistance are required.
PFA 6502TZ has an extended shelf life provided it isstored in a clean, dry place in its original, unopenedcontainer. PFA 6502TZ is hydrophobic, and generallydoes not require drying before processing unless highhumidity conditions create surface moisture adsorption.Opened containers should be tightly resealed to preventdust contamination from static charge accumulation andmoisture ingress.
