Ultramid Advanced N4H is an unfilled partially aromatic polyphthalamide for injection molding and extrusion with strong mechanical properties especially at elevated temperatures, good long-term thermal stability and excellent chemical resistance for highly stressed parts. This material has high toughness, extremely low water absorption, outstanding dimensional stability and very good wear/sliding friction properties. It features a high melting point (300°C) and excellent melt stability.

Ultramid Advanced N4H LS is an unfilled, pigmented black, partially aromatic polyphthalamide for injection molding and extrusion with strong mechanical properties especially at elevated temperatures, good long-term thermal stability and excellent chemical resistance for highly stressed parts. This material has high toughness, extremely low water absorption, outstanding dimensional stability and very good wear/sliding friction properties. It features a high melting point (300°C) and excellent melt stability. This grade is suitable for laser marking.

Ultramid Advanced N4WG7 is a partially aromatic, 35% glass fiber reinforced polyphthalamide for injection molding with strong mechanical properties especially at elevated temperatures, excellent long-term thermal stability and outstanding chemical resistance for highly stressed parts. This material has high toughness, stiffness, extremely low water absorption and outstanding dimensional stability. It features high flowability and allows filling of complex parts with thin wall thickness. It is easily processable with excellent melt stability.

Overview:
Ultramid grades are molding compounds on the basis of PA6, PA66 and various co-polyamides such as PA66/6. The range also includes PA610 and semi-aromatic polyamides such as PA6T/6. The molding compounds are available unreinforced, reinforced with glass fibers or minerals and also reinforced with long-glass fibers for special applications. Ultramid is noted for its high mechanical strength, stiffness and thermal stability. In addition, Ultramid offers good toughness at low temperatures, favorable sliding friction behavior and can be processed without any problems.

Complex moldings are economically manufactured in large numbers from Ultramid by injection molding. The extrusion method is used to produce films, semi-finished products, pipes, profiled parts, sheet and monofilaments. Semi-finished products are usually further processed by cutting tools to form finished molded parts.
